OK. Cosmic horror. Party-based RPG but progression is bland, combat is bland, abilities are poorly balanced, and the classes are one-dimensional. A bit hard to recommend for me but I'm sure there's people who would like it more.

The game deliveres exactly what it promises: A retro-inspired, dark (red: lovecraftian) fantasy RPG. Quite clunky in its controls and missing quite a few quality-of-life features, but very satisfying visuals, writing and sound, with a solid gameplay core.

Fun indie game. Has the old school vibes of early Ultimas but with a more modern user friendly interface. The story and writing are very well done, has a strong Cuthulu/ Lovecraft feel to it. It gets delightfully weird at the end.

I never played the old Ultimas, Gold Box, Wasteland 1, and this game seemed like something that would be wayyyy too difficult and complex. I love the old Fallouts, Icewind Dale, Arcanum, along with newer cRPGs like BG3, Wasteland 2-3, Colony Ship etc. S
