I have never seen a game misunderstand its own concept this badly.
You're supposed to play as a ninja, yet the gameplay is painfully slow and packed with massive input lag. Apparently the developers think ninjas move like trucks with flat tires.

I honestly don’t even know what to say about the story. It just doesn’t feel like it belongs in the same universe as the first two games. The tone and direction feel completely different, and it never really clicks the way Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 did.
