Super Grave Snatchers is pikmin like in its gameplay, but with 1 bit graphics and undead. Basically you loosely control a horde of undead to destroy villages and kill towns folk, with a bit of a humerous bend to keep it light.

Small scale strategy / management game ties well into the necromancy styles. The protagonist does move a bit slow at times but not as a full detriment to the other positives.
