Would highly recommend it for anyone interested in retro racing games! At the time, people consider it an improved version of Super Mario Kart, and it even contains modes that would later be added in Mario Kart 64 - although not even as good.

It is a typical Piko release - feels botched. Of course the "16 bit" version has that super laggy Mednafen setup that is a Piko stable. It is as if a third-world guy was paid a close to nothing to get some old game working.

The Dos and 16-bit version sucks big time!
Why? Because of the lack of controls and very slow steering.

Not worth it.
DOS version is the same as the ps1 version but significantly slower (super laggy) on resolutions higher than 320x240.
Controls don't work on the dos version, not without considerable workarounds.

God, this is bad!
The controls are horrible, there is no way to find out what to click and you'll have to go through your keyboard to figure it out (Q and W for hitting left and right, X for speed i think?, bunch of other random keys for other actions).
