like some of the other reviews have pointed out (both positively and negatively), everdine plays its story pretty straight. if you know other stories with similar tone to this one, you'll probably find it a bit familiar, front to back.

It's not a bad game per se, but it's not a great one either. The storytelling is lacking by a lot, and so is the dialogue, it's as cliché and predictable as it can be. The sprites are pretty and quite well done though.
