Might be a bit rough to pick up in the early game, but once you udnerstand the base systems its pretty simple, similar to pokemon series.

I really like the game, but bugs make it unplayable a lot of the time. The tomomon will just stop moving during battle and nothing is clickable. That also happens A LOT while in the menus, when playiang gacha, or when interacting with NPCs that sell items

If you're buying this game for achievements stay away. More than a year and some achievements are still broken.
The game is buggy as ♥♥♥♥.
Instead of working on fixing these bugs they are already working on tomomon 2.

Tomomon is a fun game, but it has some hiccups. I encountered a few bugs and a massive challenge spike during the third to last fight at the end of the game. Beyond that, it wasn't very time consuming to grind up levels and the different forms of currency

There's some cute concepts and 'mon designs but the fact you can't switch out your creatures mid combat kills alot of the tactics for me. You have a total of 6 mon but can only use 3 per fight and lose immediately if those 3 get KO'd with no option to sub
