I am a big fan of the arcade Raiden games and find they have a timeless quality to them which is a big part of their appeal.
Classic arcade action, tight controls and high score tables etc.

Unplayable due to a glitch with one of the achievements that causes an insane amount of stuttering while playing on single player mode. Worst version of Raiden III until MOSS fixes this issue, and while they're at it also take care of the screen tearing.

I love Raiden III, but don't think you should go for the Steam version. My game was lagging way too much to be considered playable. It's a shame too, because this is the only way to play Raiden III on steam if you haven't already paid for the now de-liste
