If you are already playing DDO, or if you have any interest in starting, I highly recommend you buy at least this DLC pack. It is not required, as you can both Download and Play DDO 100% for free, all the way to the end, and also make multiple characters

Something they forgot to mention. The pack is given to the first character you create. I haven't progressed far enough to see if I can mail the cleric and potions to another character on my account but I can confirm they each won't be given them outright.

After purchasing the pack, you have to register the key at the DDO Store site. Well after using multiple browsers on my pc, and the browser on my cell. I could not access the "redeem code" section of the DDO Store because there was no link or page for it.
