The balancing in this game is horrendous, your upgrades seem to help very little and you take a ton of damage simply because you row low rng. Game is not worth being paid to play.

Not a well-balanced experience.
According to the tutorial, each successive battle increases in difficulty. As a result, it's encouraged to take on the boss ASAP rather than farm for upgrades and explore the map. So, this is how I approached the game.
