You get to be Peter Shorts, that's a pretty big deal already.
Controls take some getting used to but once it clicked for me it was cool to experiment with all the different movesets. Haven't really tried multiplayer with anyone but even singleplayer felt

Incredible game so far. The combat is fun and getting a new boss' power which both mixes up your moveset and aids in exploration is great. If this game was released on the nes it would've been a huge classic. The peter designs never fail to impress/humor

im not a metroidvania person, but i liked peter shorts a lot! difficult but not overly frustrating fight mechanics or platforming (i guess this is a metroidvania-brawler-platformer), fun designs for each peter, and enjoyable to look at, simple spritework.

game is just broken with local co-op. Windows detects both controllers as working but it took forever tinkering with settings for the game to recognize both controllers. And once they were both connected, p2 started just walking to right during the trench
