I'm going to leave a positive review for this but it's on the fence for one big reason...
(edit: I believe the controller issues are mostly particular to the Steam Deck. Controllers on PC usually work alright.)

The best Aliens game by far, much better than all the official Aliens games. Quite simple mechanics and slightly rough around the edges, but captures the core atmosphere and feeling perfectly. A co-op treat.

Play with friends and descend into a cacophony of stray shots, shouts, and screaming as you realize that there are more aliens than their are bullets at later stages.
Spinning in the airlock as your teammates catch up after a mission is mandatory.

This is such a good, fun, well designed game that's absolutely deserving of an audience I worry it has yet to find properly. I absolutely recommend newcomers go at Grind mode as you can retry maps & won't lose much progress if you fail a mission.
