This game is great fun for 20 minute matches. The mechanics are great, hearkening back to the olden days of top down spaceships, while providing a deep experience that rewards tactical thinking. Worth it at full price, and a steal on sale.

Remember Subspace? It's a king of the hill version of that game. Matches are 5v5 or 10v10 (plus some other stuff I haven't even tried yet), and they're more or less timed. It's entertaining, and doesn't have to eat up your whole day, although it might. XD
