+ Desk Light (with several dim settings), Intrument Lights, Cab Lights, and dim settings on the Headlights make this locomotive fun to drive in the dark. + Activating Electric Train Supply (ETS) actually turns on the lights in the coaches, which is a fun

I like the Class 68. The sounds are quite good and the info screens work! The speedometer looks cool and the MK2s are decent. However, the air brakes are very sensetive. One tiny push and you go straight into emergency! Also, just 1 livery? I know this

Although I have marked this as RECOMMENDED, I must stipulate that this is ONLY if you also buy the Armstrong Powerhouse enhancement pack for it too. Without the enhancement pack, well, the model is ok and the texturing and cab pretty good. But that's wh

Decent train! High quality textures and really well made sounds and model. BUT: If you want this train, get the Fife Circle line, it comes with the 158, 170 and LNER A4 too. The scenarios that come with this aren't well made (trains have wrong fleet numbe

Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent addition to your collection. But I'm rating it down for one reason, and that is that you get this with the Fife Circle DLC, but for some reason the AP Enhancement Pack is NOT compatible with it? So I had to shell o

It appears that I am one of a very small band of people who drive the Class 68. It is an enjoyable engine to drive. However there is a big BUT! The braking system is complex and the instructions in the manual are poor. So, it has been trial and error to m

It's rare for DTG to create a good UK locomotive (despite the fact that they are from UK). Thankfully the class 68 can be considered to be good with good (if not prototypical) sounds and some features included.

One of the few modern looking locos. Nice to have audible traction sounds beside diesel. I recall you get this with Fife Circle, either just the train or also the E-G scenarios (i.e. the pack). Braking is not as bad as people make it sound. It is also po
