Mech Anarchy is a great top-down arcade shooter.
The twin stick shooter control scheme works perfectly for the fast paced action in this game. The enemies range from incredibly stupid to incredibly smart depending on the setting chosen for their AI.

Loved it. Played co-op vs bots, then free for all with friends and bots. Fast paced games, stats tracking, good old fashioned gameplay. No connection issues, no controller lag, no complaints.
