I thought it was on par with Saw 3's quality for the most part, however I was disappointed by the ending of the movie. The movie itself delves deeper into what created the man known as "The Jigsaw Killer" and more of his backstory beforehand.

As the traps become increasingly difficult and deadlier, as does the franchises antagonists. Mark Hoffman really shines in this Saw movie.
It's also the first in the series where you get a good look into the married life of Jill and Jigsaw.
