It does not need updates, the game is finished as far as I can tell.
You get total freedom to terraform the island in anyway you want.
If you overwhelm the citizens with food and housing they will thrive.

The game is very very bad optimized, even with my 4080 GPU with everything at minimum it works pretty bad, specially when terraforming. Plus has too many bugs and doesnt feel polished. Looks like a Banished clone, and feels repetitive. Way toooo expensive
