If you've ever played Ice Hockey for the NES (yes I'm ancient) you will absolutely love this game. It's a hockey game, with blood, guts and absolute mayhem. Franchise mode goes deep. It's just fun. It's a great co-op couch game. Pick it up on sale for 90%

I absolutely love Super Blood Hockey. The game mechanics are simple but lots of fun once you figure out the scoring mechanics. I really enjoyed franchise mode and managing the players is a lot of fun with balancing risk and reward of choices. Heartbroken

The gameplay is lovely. Pure arcade fun, great for quick blasts. A little on the easy side against the CPU (At least so far I've been winning with no difficulty, scores of 10-0 are common). I can see it being a LOT of fun playing 2x2 with friends.
