I've tried this on three occasions now. The first time I struggled with the controls because the 360 controller only worked partially. Developer responded to use Alt-K to switch to controller. That's nowhere in the menus, but it does work. That said,

On map 1 Wave 2 enemies mostly spawned outside the game map so there`s no way to progress. After you die the game doesn`t end you have to manually restart or quit. It`s barely a start to a game let alone what you could reasonably call early access. Just a
